Job Description
What you will be doing:

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with a variety of contacts, including outside attorneys and co-workers.
• Conduct strong research, analytical, and investigative tasks; document and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Make sound judgments and demonstrate flexibility/adaptability to prioritize, organize, manage, and complete time-sensitive matters.
• Exhibit strong written and oral communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Work independently and in a collaborative environment.
• Handle confidential, privileged, and/or sensitive information with care and sensitivity.
• Make sound decisions and exercise independent judgment and discretion with integrity and accountability.
• Clearly and concisely communicate ideas and facts with others.

Experience you will need:

• Bachelor's degree, or associate's degree in paralegal studies.
• 3+ years as a Litigation Legal Assistant or Paralegal.
• Paralegal certification in North Carolina preferred.
• Notary certification in North Carolina or ability to become one.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and case management software.
